Guide to Miss Seah's tutorial 1 of Making an Effective Notes for Studying

Hello! Sorry for the lack of updates! Although i only got a few loyal readers. LOL. Hmmm. I was preparing my notes for this mid-term test coming up soon, so I was thinking.. maybe i can share with you guys how i do my notes? So that u can study more effectively! Although i know different people have their own styles of making their own notes to read. But.. I'll just share. Wahahaha!!

1st: Take a piece of white A4 paper and oriented it landscape.

2nd: Draw two lines vertically to divide the paper into 3 parts equally.

3rd: Write down the title at top left hand corner in BOLD.

4rd: Write down the subheadings and the main points. Use highlighters like yellow or orange to make the headings more outstanding. And another colour for the points that are impt. Try not to use to

5th: I think I am sounding so lame in this entry. HAHAHA.

Tip: Try to squeeze everything in ONE whole page so that u get a better picture of what the main points are in just one glance. It may be messy and squeezy and tiny! But it works really well!

I finally have the courage to cut my hair short!!! Not that short lah. But above my shoulders. HEHE! But I love it!!! Although bf say i looked more retarded. LOL. But I think i look more youthful and energetic. =X

Please Ignore my eyes, one big one small, cos when the person cut my hair, the hair kept going into my eye and I teared like mad. And he asked me why am i crying. ZZZ.

And omg.......... It SOOOO EASY TO WASH MY HAIR!!!!!!!! Cos i hate washing my hair, and wiping it dry esp. LOL. ^^ Am i being too kua zhang? hahahaha

21 years old with new pimples

Its trueeee! Before midnight to my birthday, i discovered 3 pimples on my forehead. And yesterday there is one on my nose. Omg.. And i get really paranoid when something pops out on my face.

So i celebrated my birthday with my friends last week!

We had bbq korean food at far east plaza. U can see someone putting in fresh vege to bbq, thanks to yi wei's idea. Because this lady that serve us the unlimited vege 'accidentally' touch the vege. So i said i dun wan to eat that piece of vege, but yi wei said just put it inside the hot pan to kill the bacteria lah. And he did. No wonder he is a biotech student. Then we began to bbq those carrots, lettuce, cucumber, garlic and onions. @___@"

So my birthday celebration begin with a real mess. First ervia told me that she need to go off after school first cos she need to meet a 'friend'. Next, Ian sms me say that she is not feeling well, cannot come. So left poor shumin with me all the way to orchard. It may seem obvious initially, but i think their acting were too convincing that I actually believed!!! Suddenly, out pop the girls and yi wei. LOL.

The birthday cake they drew for me! No wonder ervia kept asking me how do i draw my 'signature rabbit'. At the side of the cake, there is my name H-U-I M-A-A-N!

We didn't realise we had such a long dinner. Then we loiter around ion orchard, but shops were closed already.

Chiku papa gave me this lunchbox on my birthday! Doraemon is our fav cartoon character. Hahaha

... filled with sushi made by him.. omg.. cos' i always complain that he never cook or make any thing edible for me to eat before. LOL. Out of shape, but edible. It's amazing you know!

My collegues always talked about this 5 dollar tree in botanic garden. Finally I had a chance to take a picture with it. I wanted to sit on the branches, but too many kids are on the tree. damnn

Zoo with my besties!

Outside the zoo, there is this Kenjo shop. For students its only 5 bucks to let the fishes eat ur dead skin for 10 mins!!

The feeling is so scary initially... Its like thousands of mini vibrators all around ur legs.. ewww...

Poor shumin kept screaming most of the time. Dun think she look very relax and happy hor, she is actually clenching onto us tightly!! ARgggg!!! But it was her idea to try out this thing. LOL. We were laughing non-stop lah! If bieng also try... i cannot imagine what will happen to me....

There was this cute fat photographer working in the zoo who offer to help us take photos. I was quite shock how come she so friendly. Then she say.. she need to do her job. @__@"

So about 1 hour to my birthday, Grace asked me out for supper at this Indian shop near our house. And she got me a Champagne cake. LOL!!! It taste really funny. Hahahaha! So we can't really finish the cake. xD But it was so sweet of her!!! Longest-childhood friend.

I actually took off my specs to take a picture with her. Hehe! Ty grace for counting down to my birthday!!

So erm. School has started and now its coming to the end of week 2. FAST!

Can't really remember what I did since my last blog post. But nowadays i keep having this dizziness ever since sch started. I think its' cos i entered into the cold lecture hall and then have to face the hot humid weather after class.

ECP finally!

So I went out with my girlfriends last week to ECP! I have been waiting so long for this day and I almost fainted when Ervia told me we are going orchard road instead. Luckily I managed to change it. LOL.

So it was michelle's first time roller blading and I tell you she learn real fast!!! Some pictures to share :)

YAY! Only Ervia had her own blades

All sweaty and Ian's hair was damn funny!!!

We bladed for about 2 hours and it was so tiring. My feets were killing me. Lots of laughters when we bladed cos we couldn't stop where we wanna stop!! And we have difficulties blading up-slopes!!! And omg. Mich fell on her butt. HAHAHA!! =X Mad funny!

Finally we had our dinner at this korean bbq restaurant at ECP. It was our first time having this except mich and it tasted really good. Lots of free flow side dishes, esp vegetable and I felt like a coww. mooo~ I bite my own tongue 2 times actually.

I didn't know crabs can be eaten RAW. I didn't dare to eat too much of that since I was having some allergy that day. Sucks to have allergy to seafood. Mich was enjoying her raw crabs so much. Ian love the red-cold soup. Ervia like the sweet potato that looked like ice cream, and I love the lettuce and kim chi!

After that we went to an arcade, and there were NO people at all!! Except one uncle at the counter to exchange tokens. And guess what! We tried out the Para-para for the first time!!! LOL! I think it was quite a good exercise actually since we have to keep moving our arms and feets actually.

Then we played Time-crisis 4. All of us took turns continuing after one another died. And omg.... we couldn't even passed stage 1!!! Thats how 'good' we are. Hahahaha!!

And thank you mich for the smooth ride to ecp and back! When you're back lets go blade again =D Wish amanda and shumin can join us as well. But I believe there will be such a day in the future. Heh hee!

My poor baby went to the hospital cos' his fever wun go away and was burning his forehead for 4 days. Glad he is alot better now ^^ Rest well you stupid shit!

Free again

It was my last day of work last friday and I really miss my collegues & boss. He's the nicest boss I ever met! Really! He treated me lunch and desserts at a italian place near botanic garden and even write me a testimonial. I miss my desktop as well. =(

The Thousand Dollar Brochure holders I ordered personally. Nice right?! Its custom made from Promode! (most proud of. HEHE)

And I'm so looking forward to the coming monday!!! Roller blading with girlfriends! I wish manda can join us man!! Sigh.. And I hope it wun rain.

So just now I went to catch a movie with bb. A movie that I was waiting for damn long. Harry potter and the half blood prince. Hmmm. Not very exciting, but some parts are quite funny and I thought there were too much BGR stuff inside. Too little fightings to me as well. But I still enjoyed it alot. Bb got me the wizard cup and popcorn cauldron as well!

I was trying to look emo, but my face turns out retarded. So have to crop it. LOL. The cup got the sorting hat which can GLOW IN THE DARK. How cool lah!!

Look inside the ham-head, what do you see? See the moon and the stars...? This year NDP theme song is so disapointing!! But I'm going to the NE show next sat although I have to watch it with primary school kids! Credits to my sister for getting the tickets from friends. Can't wait!

Btw, there are actually 3 hamsters inside the ham-head. Cute hor?!

Back to school!

It was a random date with darling Grace at SIM. We wanted to go Waffle town initially, but I took the wrong bus direction, so grace suggested SIM instead. Then I realised I need to walk up 2 freaking hills! So I ask her to have kfc with me instead at plaza. And she being to 'rarwwww' at me cos she was in a cab to SIM. LOL. I know you guys missed this...

Chicken CREAM pasta!!! OMGG! I totally miss this soooooo much!!!

And she had grilled fish. ^^

And omg omg. I heard from my cousins that there is a subway in ngee ann. So we explored abit and we saw this huge building called MAKAN PLACE. WAHHH!!! There are like so many seats!!! Hundreds i guess?! Way bigger than any canteens. Plus its air conditioned! There are subway, koufu and even waffle town. And the presence of waffle town make Grace happy like furby.

Oh yah btw. I caught a lizard last week by myself. It run into wangwang's hut. @__@" Cute hor? But lizards are good household pet, so we released it outside in the end. Pardon me for my lousy camera.

I think lizards are the only type that I'm not afraid of.

P.S: I feel that my name is quite hard to say and remember. I should start thinking of a name for myself. LOL. You think?
